CZARINA SIBERIANS undertakes to protect, preserve, and propel forward the Siberian Cat as preservationists.

Internationally, pedigreed cats make up less than 5% of the domesticated feline population, rendering every pedigreed cat breed a minority breed in need of human intervention to avoid extinction in our lifetime.

Siberian Cats are a landrace breed, meaning they evolved naturally without human intervention in their native habitat of the Siberian wilds. This adds a layer to the critical need for preservation efforts in ensuring the longevity of the Siberian breed.

Ethical breeders who understand this legitimate concern work tirelessly to preserve and improve their chosen breed of cat, thus ensuring their cat breed will continue to be a healthy, beautiful, structurally sound representation of the breed for years to come. Every home that welcomes a pedigreed cat is both supporting and benefiting from the passionate and educated work of preservation breeders.

To be classified as a preservation breeder, a number of key foci in the pursuit of genetic management of the chosen breed are required. In looking to national park preservation efforts, preservation of animals, plants, and other organisms nearing extinction, and even preservation of historical structures and sites, there is a clearly defined purpose, process, and proof of increasing success. We understand it is vital we protect our natural and historic sites, flora, and fauna. Preservation breeders of pedigreed cats see the gravity of the situation and follow this established procedure as well.

SIBERIANS are medium-large, semi-longhair cats originating in subarctic Siberia, Russia. Siberians evolved for survivability in continuous permafrost across 13,000,000 square kilometres of tundra, steppes, swamps, taiga, and mountains. Slow maturing in their harsh environment, Siberians grow for approximately 3 years then bulk out for 2 more years. Touted the most cold-resistant domesticated cat, Siberians are a landrace known for circles and roundness from their well-furnished ear tips to tufted feet to barrel-shaped torso to bluntly thick tail to rounded muzzle and head.

Siberians’ slightly thicker nictitating membrane protects their eyes from blowing sand or snow, just as their coarse guard hairs help prevent anything unwanted from settling on their coat. A uniquely textured triple coat, including warmly insulating resilient down hairs and water-repellent awn hairs; enables Siberians to hunt in any terrain, thriving despite the bitter cold of Siberia and its blistering heat a few weeks each summer. Canada is second to Siberia for these extreme weather conditions.

Preliminary research indicates Siberians are hypoallergenic with notably lower levels of secretoglobin Fel d 1 responsible for 90% of cat allergies (20% of the human population experience cat allergies). Further targeted research is needed; however, anecdotally a significant portion of Siberians live with allergy sufferers who report mild to non-existent reactions to their Siberians. The majority of our Czarina Siberians kitties live in homes that formerly could not have any cats due to allergies. Amazing!

Avid hunters, Siberians love playing solo or with their family or other pets. Siberians love living in community with their people, other kitties or dogs, or other pets. Of our Czarina Forever Families who do not start off adopting two of our kitties, later return for a second, third, or even fourth kitty to cherish in their home. Siberian Cat play hearkens back to their pre-domesticated roots. Enjoying playing in water, leaping in the air, climbing their cat trees, pouncing and batting toys about during spurts of playfulness brings levity to any home. We love playing with our kitties and seeing the ways they use their clever minds in hunting toy prey.

The Siberian’s belly has loose skin near the rear legs, called a primordial pouch. This primordial pouch has a gelatinous feel in stark contrast to the Siberian’s otherwise firm musculature. In the Siberian wilds, the primordial pouch serves multiple purposes from protection in a fight to a place to store starvation rations to housing stretchy skin necessary for extending into powerful leaps. Siberians are a quieter breed known for their rumbling purrs, delightful chirrups, and squeaky meows. Slavic folklore, writings, paintings, and oral tradition is peppered with Siberians, who domesticated themselves to Siberia’s sparse inhabitants and monasteries as sociable and agile kitties able to handle rodents and other pests. In return, Siberians quickly earned the affection and care of the people they chose. Eager to please, Siberians bond deeply with their family on a foundation of mutual trust. Loyal, affectionate, gentle, patient, comical, and playful, Siberians are well suited to loving and prepared homes, including homes with seniors, children, and other pets.

At Czarina Siberians, we have curated and continue to finesse our breeding plans and feline husbandry to ensure the Siberian Cats produced in our home retain the genetic value of all key features of the breed for predictability in type, health, welfare, and temperament, while also improving each of these features toward the Siberian ideal as set forth by major registries, such as TICA.

CZARINA SIBERIANS places profound emphasis on choosing every Queen and King we keep only after investing abundant research, assessment, health testing, genetic testing, pedigree analysis, socialization practices, and family history to ensure we are maintaining the true essence of the breed while also improving the offspring, generation after generation. CZARINA SIBERIANS is located on rolling hills enveloped in clean air and bordered by flowing spring water in the heartland of southern Alberta. Our Northern Shield region's exceptionally cold winters and long, bright summer days are reminiscent of the breed's origins in the Taiga — the first home of the breed in the Siberian band of northern Russia.

CZARINA SIBERIANS kittens are raised as part of our family. They are nurtured exclusively inside our home, where they tumble about our spacious ranch house and ramble near us or snuggle as we relax on a sofa or drift to sleep in bed.

Their cozy purrs fill our hearts with love, and their rambunctious climbing and tussling is always a source of good humour.

We work tirelessly to specialize the socialization process for each kitten to give the best possible foundation for their adoptive family to build upon with our extensive training and life-long support.

CZARINA SIBERIANS Kings and Queens love to roam the idyllic landscape with us from the time they have completed their kitten vaccination protocols, always safely secured in their halter and leash. They thrive on climbing trees, pouncing through the snow, joining us kayakking on sunny beach days, or simply watching the cool water flow by on our riverside walks.

We have built spacious catios in our yard, nestled among evergreens, lilacs, poplars, and honeysuckle bushes; and surrounded by songbirds, butterflies, and gentle breezes, allowing our Queens and Kings to freely come and go from home to safe and fully secure outdoor play spaces.

The Czarina Holistic Ranch property is a Siberian haven, with perches and climbing posts and myriad toys our cats love throughout our home and catios.

While our Queens and Kings have the luxury of adventuring with us outside, our kittens are indoor only so they can seamlessly join any home without concern of an expectation for outdoor exploration. Our kittens are raised to not be door-dashers, as they have no taste for the outdoors before leaving our home for their forever home.

KINGS

CZARINA SIBERIANS Kings have been thoughtfully selected from among the most reputable breeders around the world. All have thoroughly health-tested lines, and are themselves health tested, full of World Champions and similarly titled parents and ancestors. We love taking our Kings and their offspring to TICA shows. It is always exciting to hear the judges confirm how well they represent the TICA Siberian standard and commend us on their part in our exceptional breeding program.

CZARINA SIBERIANS Kings’ gorgeous, spacious rooms are themed after famous Slavic landscapes with adjoining catios nestled in the trees. We love spending time snuggling and playing with each of our Kings in his domain and have created an oasis of sorts for ourselves where we relax and enjoy time with each of our phenomenal Kings while sipping tart home-brewed sun tea over ice on those bright, warm days of summer or aromatic steaming tea when the days turn chilly in winter.

We are ecstatic to announce our newest TICA (The International Cat Association) title for one of our Kings, which is the most coveted title among pedigree breeders around the world. It requires 10 offspring to achieve a Grand Championship title or higher, and our OUTSTANDING SIRE ELIZAR achieved this prestigious title with 11 offspring in 2023! Check out Elizar’s introduction below for the impressive achievements of his 11 offspring that worked together over several years to make their daddy Elizar, along with all of us at Czarina Siberians, so proud and honoured.

Elizar means God my helper, and he is a socialite who wins the hearts of everyone he sees. Thank you to Anna and Tatiana of Maris Stella cattery for our charismatic and loving Elizar!

Elizar’s comically hilarious approach to life keeps us laughing as he lazes about the house in some of the most ridiculous positions imaginable. Even in his TICA show debut as a kitten, Elizar kept the audience and judges in stitches with his hilarious positions in the show cage each judging ring. What a ham!

On the judges’ table Elizar was routinely commended for his perfect head type, incredible body condition, fantastic alignment, and confirmation to the Siberian standard. We were so proud of Elizar when he achieved TICA 2nd Best Siberian Kitten of the Year in the Pacific NorthWest that year. What a phenomenal king is our Elizar!

Beginning with his first litter of kittens, we have been working toward Elizar receiving our very first OUTSTANDING SIRE (OS) title. He outdid himself, with eleven (when it required ten) of Elizar’s offspring having accomplished Grand Champion (GRC) all the way up to the highest Supreme Grand Champion (SGC) titles and more. Elizar’s phenomenal offspring have helped him achieve this well-deserved title he always held in our hearts! Elizar is a truly exceptional king, and here are his titled daughters and sons to date!

Athletic, Elizar loves racing around his catio, enjoying the jungle gym we built. In the winter, he pops back in through his kitty door to soak in the warmth or luxuriate in snuggling arms before heading out for more playtime. Elizar is a true son of Siberia!

Elizar’s zest for life is tempered by his passion for being carried. He’s pure muscle, filling out his excellent barrel shaped body gorgeously with that Siberian build that is so densely heavy. His sandpaper-rough tongue is always ready to give kisses. Elizar readily captured our hearts from the first moment he joined our family with his loudly rumbling purrs and affectionate nature.

Elizar passes on to his kittens his expressive big eyes, broadly rounded face, beautifully barrel-shaped torso, delightful charisma, sturdy body, affectionate nature, and excessively confident friendliness.

We are proud to call Elizar daddy to many of our Czarina Siberians kittens.

Bobby - triple grand champion

Bobby means famed, bright, shining, which perfectly described the bright joy he’s brought into our home and the admiration he garners everywhere he goes. Thank you to Albina of Arkaim cattery for our sweetheart Bobby!

With his incredibly sweet disposition and even-keeled approach to life, Bobby is ready for whatever ideas we have. He adores living life as a lap kitty, melting into our laps. He loves going for car rides, cozying into our laps with contented purrs rumbling and his gorgeous big blue eyes taking in all the passing scenery and other vehicles with rapt attention only broken when he frequently turns his loving gaze on us with gentle chirrups.

With Bobby’s incredible blue eyes, sweet personality, and love for affection, he immediately filled a place in our hearts and home we didn’t even know was empty.

Shortly before flying across the ocean to join our family, Bobby took in a European TICA show and achieved his first title of Champion. Once he arrived and was fully settled in and beautifully bonded with us, we continued his TICA show season. That year, Bobby earned 5th Best Siberian of the Year in the Pacific NorthWest. Two years in a row he earned International Best Blue Point Siberian of the Year in the Pacific NorthWest. Our Bobby-boy has achieved the title of Triple Grand Champion (TGC) with TICA, and we are so proud of all he has accomplished.

Bobby has an incredible show temperament, loving to play with the judges’ toys, standing well for them, and showing off his breathtakingly blue eyes to one and all. Bobby is memorable and leaves a wonderful impression on all he meets. We feel so thankful for our beloved Bobby.

In the nice weather, Bobby loves lying on the cool grass in his catio, enjoying the flitting chirping birds flying overhead and the gently flowing waterfall while soaking in the sun’s warm rays. He also adores our large dog, playing with him and snuggling with him in the house.

Bobby passes on to his kittens his breathtakingly big eyes, expressive face, gorgeous thick coat, affectionate confidence, beautiful confirmation, and snuggly loving nature.

groshik - regional winner & supreme grand champion

Groshik means a red penny, which hearkens to his stunning red lynx point coat. Groshik excelled in TICA shows with us. Thank you to Oksana of Tsar-Koshka cattery for our huge and loving Groshik!

When Groshik joined our family, he quickly endeared himself to us with his sweetly affectionate nature and hilariously lazy playfulness. It was love at first sight, and we and our darling Groshik bonded quickly and deeply. This big boy adores being held close, as he loudly purrs and kneads the air with his massive paws.

We worked hard preparing Groshik to start his TICA show career, and he has exceeded our expectations as he learned what to expect and how to handle himself in the show rings for each judge. Groshik quickly developed an enjoyment for showing, even becoming unfazed by the cacophany of sounds at Pet Expos, where barking dogs, loudspeakers, milling crowds, myriad pets from pigs to amphibians to birds, and even the deafening dog competitions happening all around us did not bother him. We’re continually amazed by our Groshik!

Groshik routinely wowed the TICA judges with his unexpected heft even in seeing how big he is, his gorgeously dense red lynx point coat, his stunning big blue eyes, his excellent barrel-shaped body, his perfect head, his conformity to the Siberian standard, and his darling personality.

Groshik so impressed the TICA judges that he frequently placed Best AllBreed Cat and quickly earned his Supreme Grand Champion title at just one year of age! He finished the show year strong as the 4th Best Siberian Cat of the Year in the World, the Best Siberian Cat in the Pacific NorthWest Region and in Canada, and the 6th Best AllBreed Cat in the Pacific NorthWest Region, earning him his Regional Winner RW title. He had a fantastic show season, and we’re so proud of all he accomplished in his TICA show career.

Groshik has driven and flown with us across Canada and the States and takes in the sights and sounds with such sweet confidence from his travel carrier, his halter and leash, or our loving arms. He's even experienced Niagara Falls with us and loved sniffing the misty air from our arms with eyes closed, taking in all the scents and sounds and simply lounging in our arms. What a sweet, sweet king is our Groshik.

Groshik passes on to his kittens his phenomenal big round eyes, broad head, gorgeous dense coat, unexpected heft, lovely confirmation, high intelligence, and affectionately sweet nature.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS

CZARINA SIBERIANS kittens are family to us.

It is important to us that each one is adopted into a loving family and the right environment.

As we speak on the phone or in person with you, and as you get to know us, it will become clear to us which kitten will be the best fit for your home.

Introducing your kitten to his or her new home may require an adjustment period. Before you bring your kitten home, we will walk you through tips and tricks we have accrued over our many years of experience.

Once you join our reservation list, you face the hardest part of this journey - your wait. However, after your kitten’s litter is born, we will share a phone call confirming the timing is right for your kitten to join your home. You will then begin receiving an email every couple weeks with high-value, digestible information for each step of your journey from discovering the history of the Siberian breed to how to care for your Siberian’s coat to how to bond with your kitten to how to prepare for a safe and meaningful first introduction through bonding time with your kitten to a shopping list of must-haves and good options setting you up for success in meeting your kitten’s needs. You will be introduced to your kitten’s parents and your kitten’s unique personality and preferences. These emails include updated pictures of your kitten so you can watch your kitten grow and develop from infancy to adoption! These information-rich emails will serve as your Czarina Kitty Care Manual, which will be your indispensable guide throughout your time preparing for and welcoming your Czarina Siberians kitten into your home and family. We recommend you keep these emails in a dedicated folder or printed out for future reference.

Of course, you’re always welcome to email, text, phone, or message us through social media for help and insights along the way. You can even give yourself a head start by checking out our blog, Czarina Lifestyle for preliminary shopping lists complete with links to the items we recommend. Or simply to share your beloved kitty with us - we love all these updates!

Every single kitten we raise is named from birth, known by us as a distinct individual, loved and enjoyed for all the special personality that shines through, and is remembered fondly for life in our home and hearts. Every time we kiss our Czarina Siberians kitten goodbye and place him or her in the arms and care of a new or returning Czarina Forever Family, it is bittersweet.

While we miss each kitten, their personality, and the special moments he or she brought into our home and hearts; we also celebrate each kitten’s new life as he or she joins the family we thoughtfully chose to be his or her Czarina Forever Family. We are always happily available to our kittens’ families, and we encourage followup conversations throughout the settling-in process, and beyond. We love following our kitties’ on Instagram and receiving pictures, videos, and as much as you want to share with us from all your special moments together, too!

CZARINA SIBERIANS’ Foster-to-Adopt Program is dear to our hearts because we love all of our cats and the joy they bring, and we want the very best life for each one of them.

Our Foster-to-Adopt program infrequently allows a loving home in Central Alberta to join our Czarina Siberians family by fostering one of our exceptional Czarina Siberians momma cats. This allows select few of our momma cats to flourish in her own domain away from our home’s momma kitty community when she joins her foster family. This is one reason why you will infrequently find a retired Czarina Siberians cat available for an adoptive family. We prioritize raising our Czarina Siberians kittens in our home to give a consistent upbringing, so when it’s time Momma kitty comes back to her first loving home with us here at Czarina Holistic Ranch to raise her kittens with our support and expertise until she says her goodbyes as they are happily adopted by their forever families. Momma kitty then returns to playfully and lovingly rule over her foster family once again. In this way, we meet our desire for all of our cats to have the very best life, in consideration of their personalities and desires, filled with affection, care, and personal attention, whether in our home with their kitty friends and us or in their Foster-to-Adopt family.

QUEENS

CZARINA SIBERIANS Queens have been thoughtfully selected from among the most reputable breeders around the world as well as for multiple generations from our own exceptional lines.

All come from health-tested lines full of all manner of award winning, well titled (through judging at TICA cat shows) parents and ancestors. We love taking our queens to TICA shows, and it is always exciting to come home with new championship titles.

We are ecstatic to introduce two of our queens who achieved the most coveted title among pedigree breeders around the world. It requires 5 offspring to achieve a Grand Championship title or higher, and both of our queens, who happen to be mother and daughter, OUTSTANDING DAM IZABELLA and OUTSTANDING DAM ELIZAVETA, achieved this prestigious title the same year with 6 offspring each! Check out Izabella’s and Elizaveta’s mini bios from our TICA titled retired queens for the impressive lists of each of their 6 offspring that worked together over the years to make their mommas and all of us at Czarina Siberians so proud and honoured.

The second TICA Yearbook page features our second two Regional Winners (RW) Yezdra in the Alter Class (now adopted), and his older sister now retired momma Adalaide! We learn so much during the judging of all the cat breeds and love to hear the judges confirm how well our queens and future queens represent the TICA Siberian standard.
The third TICA Yearbook 2-page spread Show season 2020-21 was a big one as we doubled our new Regional Winner titled cats again with four spectacular kitties: momma kitty RW Czarina Marissa was 22nd Best AllBreed Kitten in NW and Best Siberian Kitten in Canada and NW, momma kitty RW SGC Czarina Zariyana placed 14th Best LongHair Cat in NW and Best Siberian Cat in Canada and NW, RW SGCA Czarina Czarnika placed 15th Best AllBreed Alter in NW and 2nd Best Siberian Alter in Canada, and her brother RW SGCA Czarina Czarovich placed 12th Best AllBreed Alter in the NW and Best Siberian Alter in Canada (these two are happily settled into their adoptive family together).
The third TICA Yearbook 4-page spread for show season 2022-23, we achieved 4 new firsts for Czarina Siberians: Outstanding Sire (OS) for daddy Elizar, Outstanding Dam (OD) for two mommas: Izabella and Elizaveta, and our third-generation home-grown kitty Galadrien won both International Winner (IW) since our kitty placed in the top 25 Alters in the world and Breed Winner (BW) since our kitty placed Best Siberian Alter in the world! Whew! We also achieved two additional Regional Winners (RW) for our newest daddy Groshik and momma Lapushka.
Our most recent show season 2023-24 TICA Yearbook page is coming soon! We achieved a number of fabulous awards! We’re thrilled two of our beloved kitties Supremed this season, current momma RW SGC Czarina Zariyana and retired momma OD SGCA Czarina Izabella, so we now have 9 kitties who have earned this highest title! We were awarded 5 new Regional Winners (RW): IW (RW) BW SGCA Czarina Galadrien (5th Best Alter in the Pacific NorthWest Region), RW QGC Czarina Naida (16th Best Cat in the Pacific NorthWest Region), RW SGC Czarina Anzhelika (17th Best LongHair Cat in the Pacific NorthWest Region), RW Czarina Jasmolika (3rd Best Kitten in the Pacific NorthWest Region), and RW CH Czarina Nadezhda (15th Best Kitten in the Pacific NorthWest Region). Despite strong competition, we also received plaques for Best Siberian Kitten (Jasmolika 1st, Nadezhda 2nd), Best Siberian Cat (Naida 1st, Anzhelika 2nd, Zariyana 3rd), and Best Siberian Alter (Galadrien 1st, Izabella 2nd) in the Pacific NorthWest Region. Whew! What a year we had with our kitties!

Lapushka means darling sweetheart, which perfectly describes our endearing and loving queen - fourth generation of Czarina Siberians.

Lapushka is a stunning cool brown black mackerel tabby with mesmerizing green eyes.

Lapushka was a fabulous traveler full of trusting sweetness, and in the show ring she was a favourite due to her perfect alignment, confident sweetness, fantastic head type, being built like a tank, her affectionate and perky personality, and as a gorgeous example for the Siberian standard. One esteemed TICA Judge quickly decided Lapushka was her favourite cat and placed her Best In Show ever after. In fact, we will always be thankful to esteemed TICA Judge Ellen Crockett for that day in a Pennsylvania show where she placed our fabulous Lapushka Best in Show and earned Lapushka her Supreme Grand Championship (SGC) title at just 11 months of age. Thank you!

We are so proud of our darling Lapushka and all the fabulous feedback she garnered in the judging rings. She finished the show season as 12th Best AllBreed Cat in the Pacific NorthWest Region and 5th Best Siberian Cat in the World. We’re so proud of all she accomplished in her TICA show career. Lapushka also helped her daddy Elizar achieve his Outstanding Sire and momma Izabella achieve her Outstanding Dam with TICA.

Lapushka always meets a friend. She works hard to be a good friend to our other kitties, she finds our big dog fascinating, and she adores snuggles with us.

Lapushka took to motherhood like she was born for this. She adores caring for her sweetly loving and highly intelligent kittens. She passes on her charismatic and affectionate character, along with her astounding beauty, to her kittens. She is a doting momma kitty who raises really smart and eager-to-please kittens who bring comfort and delight to their forever families.

Lapushka’s kittens are a delightful blend of beauty, charisma, affection, strength, and sweet snuggles. Just like their delightful momma Lapushka.

Zariyana means royal full of favour, which captures the essence of our magnificent, loving queen - fifth generation of Czarina Siberians.

Zaryiana is a stunning seal lynx point Siberian. Her gorgeous blue eyes are huge and expressive. She is intensely loving and full of confidence.

Zariyana rises to meet the needs of whomever she is with, whatever the occasion. She runs with chirrups to greet us at the door. She gives lots of sandpaper kisses, gently bumps noses with us in greeting, and curls up as close to our hearts as she can get for a purring nap together.

Zariyana loves to play with her toys, climb her cat tree, race around her catio, and being admired by all she meets. She adores kayaking with us on the lake, delightedly watching the ducklings and their quacking parents glide past us or a motorboat speed by creating waves that rock our kayak.

Zariyana enjoyed driving across Canada and flying into the US for TICA shows and took the cacophonous noise of Pet Expos in stride, which pleased us immensely. She thoroughly impressed the TICA Judges and spectators alike with her massive Siberian triple coat, huge barrel body, thick legs, excellent conformity to the Siberian standard, and impressive loving confidence. This queen aptly earned her Quadruple Grand Champion (QGC) title and went on to achieve her Regional Winner (RW) title as the 14th Best LongHair Cat in the Pacific NorthWest Region. Zariyana helped her daddy Elizar achieve his Outstanding Sire and momma Elizaveta achieve her Outstanding Dam with TICA. Zariyana then paused showing to delight in raising her darling mini-me kittens, including the phenomenal RW QGC Czarina Naida, one of our darling momma kitties.

December 2023, Zariyana joined us for one show, where esteemed TICA Judge Jay Bangle adored her phenomenal Siberian type and her charming personality, placing her Best In Show and earning Zariyana her Supreme Grand Championship (SGC). Thank you! What a phenomenal queen is our Zariyana!

Zariyana adores motherhood. She utterly dotes on her sweet kittens from the moment she lays eyes on them, loving cleaning and nursing each one with attentive care.

Zariyana’s kittens are exceptionally gorgeous, sweet, confident, loving, friendly - just like their outstanding momma Zariyana.

Naida means water nymph, which captures the essence of our beautiful, playful, serene, loving queen - sixth generation of Czarina Siberians.

Naida is a stunning blue lynx point Siberian. Her mesmerizing ocean blue eyes capture attention everywhere she goes. She is unendingly sweet, gentle, and affectionate.

Naida adores being held and runs chirruping up to us for affection, confidently leaping into our arms fully trusting we will catch her. We haven’t failed yet, but this girl makes us laugh with her utterly innocent confidence.

Naida will happily spend hours snuggled up with us purring contentedly. Because she is so sweet and gentle with us, her boisterous play with toys and on her cat tree always surprises laughter from us. This girl could not be more perfect in her blend of affectionate gentleness and sprightly playfulness. Naida loves nothing more than snuggling, and the second we sit down anywhere she appears and leaps into our arms with complete trust we will catch her and happily snuggle her close while she purrs contentedly. She’s a delight!

Naida never simply walks anywhere. She prances about like a ballerina with her luxurious triple coat floating up and down with a life of its own with each step. She is mesmerizing to watch, like pure poetry. She’s a quiet adventurer at heart who looks to us with full trust whenever we introduce her to something new. Kayaking, road trips, and TICA shows, she’s willing to take things in stride as long as she can see us approving of her carefree nature.

Naida joined us for her first TICA show in January and quickly discovered she loved making friends with all the Judges and playing with their toys or snuggling into them with contented purrs. She quickly became a joy to show.

Naida has since achieved her Quadruple Grand Championship (QGC) and is in the Top 25 Championship Cats in the Pacific NorthWest Region (NW), earning her the title of Regional Winner (RW). We’re delighted with our girl’s accomplishments!

We look forward to welcoming Naid’as own precious kittens planned for later this year. She is so full of affection and gentleness, we are sure she will adore motherhood.

We anticipate Naida’s kittens will be exceptionally gorgeous, sweet, confident, affectionate, and friendly, just like their outstanding momma Naida.

Karolina means beautiful warrior, which perfectly fits this magnificent, loving, gorgeous queen - fifth generation of Czarina Siberians.

Karolina is a stunning seal lynx point Siberian. Her gorgeous blue eyes are huge and expressive. She is intensely loving and full of confidence.

Karolina loves life. She thrives with tons of toys, her tall cat tree, playing in her catio, snuggling with her kitty friends and us, and joining us for adventures on her halter and leash. She fills every day with lots of happy purring, warm snuggles, hilarious playfulness, and loving sandpaper kisses.

Karolina happily showed off her charismatic personality full of purrs and silliness for the TICA judges at her debut show at just 8 months of age. She earned her Double Grand Championship (DGC), even placing Best AllBreed Cat in show with one of the judges. Karolina helped her daddy Elizar achieve his Outstanding Sire and her momma Elizaveta her Outstanding Dam with TICA. We’re so proud of all our darling queen accomplished in that one show weekend and look forward to bringing her back to show in future years.

We are thrilled Karolina has taken to motherhood with loving pride from the moment she welcomed her first kittens to our home. Karolina’s best friend, Lapushka, loved giving both momma Karolina and her seven sweet kittens lots of kisses and baths and snuggles, supporting Karolina alongside us in raising her gorgeous kittens.

Karolina is an amazing momma kitty. She raises exceptionally gorgeous, sweet, confident, friendly, fluffy kittens - just like their wonderful momma Karolina.

RW CH czarina nadezhda

Nadezhda means hope. She is overflowing with hope and delight, lifting the spirits of those she loves with her utterly sweetly loving, endearing nature wherever life takes her. Nadezhda is fourth generation of Czarina Siberians.

Nadezhda is a beautiful brown (black) tabby with white Siberian with loving, gorgeous, rounded green eyes.

Nadezhda adores being held close, flooding the air with her purrs and conversational chirrups. She is endlessly sweet and affectionate, often joining us under the covers to sleep close. Nadezhda is loving and affectionate, but she has such energetic playfulness, she keeps us laughing as she chases after and pounces on her toys, scales her cat tree, and allows her fearless curiosity and playfulness make us laugh and scratch our heads at her silly antics. This queen is an utter delight.

Nadezhda joined us for her debut show in Calgary, AB at just 6 months of age and proved an immediate favourite among esteemed TICA Judges. She was chosen for every Top 10 Kitten Final and placed consistently near the top. Nadezhda earned the most points of all the kittens in the show, earning overall Best in Show! Nadezhda is Czarina Siberians’ first kitten to take it away like that - and at her first show too!

Nadezhda joined us the following weekend for the final show of the TICA year and performed so well as an excellent example of the Siberian breed she managed to earn her Regional Winner (RW) title as a kitten as well as 2nd Best Siberian Kitten in the Pacific NorthWest - second to our upcoming queen RW Czarina Jasmolika.

When she was old enough to show with the adults and start earning championship titles, Nadezhda quickly earned her Championship title making Nadezhda’s official name: RW CH Czarina Nadezhda.

Nadezhda thrives in raising her incredibly sweet, affectionate, gorgeously built kittens that are so like their exceptional momma Nadezhda. Nadezhda passes on her hilarious and gently affectionate character, along with her astounding beauty, to her kittens. She is a doting momma kitty who raises really well behaved kittens that play beautifully together.

Nadezhda’s kittens are a delightful blend of beauty, charisma, affection, strength, and sweet snuggles. Just like their delightful momma Nadezhda.

Shanieka is a lovely seal lynx point Siberian with loving, gorgeous blue eyes. She’s a sweetheart who enjoys cozying up for warm snuggles. We love this sweet, affectionate, gentle, loving girl.

Shanieka is a lovely blend of sweetness and playfulness. She loves getting her sweet kittens playing and bouncing around before quietly finding a comfy spot on her cat tree to curl up and watch them continue their adorable antics.

We look forward to being able to show Shanieka in the future, as she is a stunning example of the Siberian breed and so deeply affectionate.

She is a lovely blue lynx point Siberian with loving, gorgeous blue eyes. She’s a sweetheart who is usually found cozying up for warm snuggles or bouncing after toys with delightful playfulness. We love this charming, affectionate, loving girl.

Zaliya enjoys joining us in whatever adventures we concoct, looking to us with her big blue eyes full of trust as she enters into our plans and adventures together. At home again, Zaliya is full of warm rumbling purrs and cozy snuggles, which we adore. What a wonderful queen is our darling Zaliya!

Zaliya is a delightful blend of sweetness and playfulness. She loves playing with her puff-ball kittens and keeps them so fluffy and perfectly groomed. Zaliya’s kittens are full of love, playfulness, affection, and gorgeously deep blue eyes.

She is a stunning blue lynx point and white Siberian. Her gorgeous blue eyes are huge and expressive. She is deeply loyal and brimming over with sweet love.

Milana adores being held close and hearing us share everything we love about her. She’s an easy-going kitty who trots up to us to greet us or in answer to our call. When she’s relaxing nearby, Milana slow-blinks to us from wherever she’s relaxing whenever she catches our eye. Anyone who meets Milana simply adores her.

Milana enjoys relaxing with her family, but she also loves playing. She’s hilarious to watch playing with her darling kittens, batting toys around the house or scaling her tall cat tree with ease. She’s a delightful member of our family and is delighted to enter into whatever ideas we concoct.

Milana adores adventuring about in the catio with her kitty friends, exploring our land on her halter and long leash, sniffing the breezes, and watching the birds flitting about just out of her reach. She brings a sense of joy and warmth with her wherever she goes.

Oliver means affectionate, which perfectly described our patriarch related to most of our kittens through several of our beloved momma kitties (his exceptional daughters, granddaughters, all the way to his upcoming great great great great granddaughter, carry his phenomenal line forward to this day). Each kitten born from Oliver’s line shows a taste of his playful yet laid-back personality. He comes from a long line of International Champions the world over. Oliver bears his award-winning ancestors’ exquisite beauty, mesmerizingly deep blue eyes, and luxurious blue lynx point coat.

Oliver is retired and adores companionship with his loving family, where he brings a perfect blend of liveliness and coziness. Their time is spent basking in shafts of sunlight on the couch, cozying up for an evening movie, watching his energetic racing about the house, cooking ‘together’ in the kitchen, and playing with Oliver’s favourite toys. Oliver is an attentive listener whose gentle meows, sweet chirrups, and rumbling purrs punctuate the conversation, while his love of snuggling makes him an ideal lap cat. Oliver’s playful sense of humour keeps him happy with his myriad toys, and we couldn’t be more delighted for our sweetly gentle boy!

Osya means father of many, and we are thrilled our unendingly sweet king became just that. He won our hearts from the moment he joined our home, with his loving chirrups and head-butts for attention. Thank you to Elena of Syberia cattery for our second foundational king Osya!

Osya’s tender, endearing disposition and stunning golden eyes are a striking combination. It’s no wonder, as he comes from a long line of International Champions the world over. We are thrilled his excellent line continues through his exceptional daughters, granddaughters, great granddaughters, and even his upcoming great great granddaughter.

Osya’s dense black smoke with white coat is a phenomenal sight to behold, especially when his rippling muscles show that gorgeous silver effect as the white band on his fur close to his skin shows through the pitch black outer layer as he moves. Stunning!

Osya is retired and loving life snuggling with his family, people watching out the window, and batting toys around like a four-legged soccer star.

Each of Osya’s kittens in his line show a taste of his easy-going yet affectionate personality, as well as his genes for large kitties. Many of Osya’s offspring have matured to a healthy fifteen to twenty-five plus pounds. Who doesn’t love a big, purring, warm kitty for cozy snuggles?

Sahshiya is forever a pivotal part of our Czarina Siberians story because we can trace our passion for showing back to one exciting day in April 2017 at our very first TICA Cat Show in Calgary, AB. Sahshiya was chosen for one AllBreed Cat Final and achieved the title of Champion (CH). We were hooked!

Sahshiya continued to develop into a well-formed Siberian Cat with that perfect Siberian expression, exquisitely thick coat, and excellent confirmation to the Siberian standard. Sahshiya raised her kittens to be loving, athletic, and sweetly loyal, just like their wonderful momma Sahshiya.

Nataliya means celebration, which speaks to the delight and joy she exudes - fifth generation of Czarina Siberians. She’s a gorgeous seal lynx point and white with gorgeous big blue eyes.

She earned her Triple Grand Championship (TGC) the same year we showed her with her momma, Elizaveta. They were dubbed ‘the twins’ in the show hall and frequently placed together in the top 10 AllBreed Cats. Anastasia means resurrection and new life, which speaks of the charisma, vibrancy, and affection she exudes - fourth generation of Czarina Siberians. Anastasia is a gorgeous big brown black spotted tabby with intense olive-green eyes.

Anastasia brought several firsts to Czarina Siberians as (1) our first Supreme Grand Champion (SGC), (2) our first 2-Show Supreme, and (3) our first Regional Winner (RW) placing in the top 25 AllBreed Cats in the Pacific NorthWest Region (NW). She was the Best Siberian NW, 4th Best Siberian International, 13th Best AllBreed Cat NW.

Anastasia also helped both her daddy Elizar achieve his Outstanding Sire (OS) title and her momma Izabella achieve her Outstanding Dam (OD) title with TICA. Anastasia raised her loving, confident, gorgeous kittens with that same affectionate charisma she brings to all of life, just like their amazing momma Anastasia.

Alina means beautiful, noble, kind, which beautifully describes our fabulous queen bee - second generation of Czarina Siberians.

Alina is a gorgeous seal lynx point Siberian with large, expressive blue eyes always so full of affection and nearly constant purrs. She is a perfect blend of confidence and affection, and we call her Alina Ballerina since she’s always lightly pranced about with such joy.

Alina achieved her Double Grand Championship (DGC) title with TICA, and the TICA Judges routinely lauded her for her incredible bone alignment, confirmation to the Siberian standard, and fabulous Siberian coat texture.

Showing Alina was an absolute joy with her sweet, social, perky tolerant personality. Alina’s natural charisma, easy-going nature, rumbling purrs, warm snuggles, and hilariously playful nature make her an utter delight.

Marissa means beloved, of the sea. She lives up to her name beautifully, endearing herself to everyone who meets her and, incidentally, her favourite days are spent kayaking with us on the lake. Marissa is third generation of Czarina Siberians.

Marissa is a stunning seal lynx point Siberian with large, loving, gorgeous, ocean blue eyes.

Marissa adores curling up in our arms like a little spoon to sleep at night. She is endlessly sweet and affectionate. She purrs on a dime, whether we glance in her direction, tell her how beautiful she is, pet her just the way she likes, or snuggle her close. As loving and affectionate as Marissa is, she is also incredibly curious and playful, making us laugh at her silly antics. This retired queen is an utter delight.

Whenever she wants to grab our attention to play with her, Marissa scratches her cat tree while looking at us until we make eye contact and praise her impressive strength. She knows how to get what she wants! And we’re thrilled.

Marissa drove across Caanda with us to Quebec to show as a kitten with TICA. She won over the TICA Judges with her adorable personality and incredible confirmation to the Siberian standard. RW Czarina Marissa is our fourth Regional Winner (RW), placing 22nd Best AllBreed Kitten in the Pacific NorthWest Region 2021-22 as well as Best Siberian Kitten in Canada and the Pacific NorthWest that year.

Marissa’s bright and affectionate character means her Czarina Forever Family is in for a treat. Marissa adores entertaining her people with her hilarious antics, but more importantly loves little more than snuggles and being carried about. She’s never far from her family, and she has endless love to give with those she loves and trusts. Marissa is very social, enjoys engaging with company, and thrives as the centre of attention. She enjoys joining us for adventures but is just as happy curled up with her loving family inside.
